Standards, practices and research to elevate the events industry

Industry Resources

APEX Commission tools and templates

APEX is a well-known and highly respected initiative that, over its lifespan, has involved more than 2,500 global industry members. This group has worked collaboratively to develop key industry standards, tools, and resources that are in use today.

Accepted Practices Guide

The Events Industry Council releases resources as the task force work groups curate and aggregate content. The work is presented in a "guide" format that is intended to serve as a resource and educational tool for industry professionals to utilise as they put the aggregated resources and materials into practice.

This guidance also is intended to be global and universal in nature. The work will continue to evolve through regional workshops led by task force members, to ensure it is understood and applied broadly.

The Accepted Practices Guides are available via the FlippingBook platform. You can toggle between pages, download, or print the guide using icons at the bottom of the window. You can enlarge your view of the guide by selecting the full screen/four directional arrow icon next to the magnifying glass. Clickable links will have a grey box around the text when you hover with your mouse over the text.
